I spoke to some fans before the show and was pleasantly surprised to find out that some have travelled from Brunei, Malaysia and even Thailand. It just goes to show that music brings people together.
I met 2 friends who came from Kuala Lumpur. They took the bus into Singapore and made their way straight to the venue. Their plan for the evening after the show – grab a bite and take a short rest somewhere and head back to Kuala Lumpur by bus. That was quite a story for me.
Photos wise, I sure did get my butt kicked. Lighting conditions were tough and frontman, Randy Blythe, runs and jumps. Focusing wasn’t easy due to the low lighting. At 1 point, Randy was pouring water down his head and starting swinging so the camera and I got a little blessing from him.
